CRYSTAL LAKE – The District 155 Education Association, an employee union, is inviting the public to attend a “Meet the Candidates Night” on Monday where people can meet some of the candidates running for the Community High School District 155 Board.
The event will be from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Crystal Lake Brewing Tap Room, 150 N. Main St.
In attendance will be candidates Ron Ludwig, Jason Blake and Nicole Pavoris, who have been endorsed by the District 155 Education Association. Also attending will be candidate David Secrest. Other candidates weren’t invited.
This event is not a fundraiser and is for informational purposes only. Attending the event does not require an endorsement.
Nine candidates are running for the four open seats on the school board in the April 4 election. The candidates are Ron Ludwig, Jason Blake, Nicole Pavoris, David Secrest, Ann Somers, John Pletz, Donna Kurtz, Raphael Kamner and Scott Vetter. Secrest and Somers are incumbents.
