Wheaton man charged with public indecency along Prairie Path in Glen Ellyn

GLEN ELLYN – A Wheaton man has been charged with public indecency for acts that allegedly occurred in November 2017 and June 2018 on the Prairie Path in Glen Ellyn.

Benjamin Moore, 21, has been charged with two misdemeanor acts of public indecency, according to a news release from the Glen Ellyn Police Department.

On July 10, Glen Ellyn police obtained a warrant for his arrest. The same day, he turned himself in to the department, where he was processed and released after posting a $300 cash bond, the release stated.

On Nov. 2, 2017, and June 12, 2018, Moore allegedly performed unlawful acts of sexual conduct by masturbating in a public place along the Prairie Path adjacent to Danby Park in Glen Ellyn, according to the release.

Moore's court date is set for Aug. 16 at the DuPage County Judicial Center.
