LYONS TOWNSHIP – A pair of newcomers and an incumbent are at the forefront of a five-way race for three seats for the Lyons Township High School District 204 School Board.
With 52 of the 55 precincts reporting, Alison Kelly remains at the top of the group with 3,928 votes with Kari Dillon trailing behind at 3,689, according to unofficial results. Board member Barbara Rosinsky rounds out the trio with 3,117 votes.
Rosinsky has served on the board since 2014 and currently the chair of the curriculum, faciliies and human resources committee.
School board candidates Philip Palmer, an incumbent, has 2,851 votes, and challenger Ricardo Martinez Jr. holds 2,282 of the votes, according to the unofficial results.
