ELMHURST – In an eight-way school board race in Elmhurst Community School District 205, voters selected three newcomers and an incumbent.
With 100 percent of precincts reporting, Courtenae Trautmann and Elizabeth Hosler were dominant, garnering more than 2,600 votes, according to the unofficial results. Trautmann had 2,678, and Hosler had 2,635. Board secretary Karen Stuefen came in third with 2,415 votes, while Christopher Kocinski rounded out the top four with 2,228, according to unofficial results.
School board candidate Gordon Stephan had 2,077 votes, while Bojana Carey collected 1,497 votes, according to unofficial results. Meanwhile, Stephan Schlesinger had 1,041 votes and Paul DeMichele closed out with 911 votes.
