GLEN ELLYN – DuPage Woodworkers will present a program at 7 p.m. April 22 in Glen Ellyn about the trolls on display at The Morton Arboretum in Lisle.

The monthly meeting will be held at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church at 480 S. Park Blvd. in Glen Ellyn. It's a change in the normal schedule of gatherings each third Monday of the month at St. James, according to a news release.

The presenter from The Morton Arboretum is Nancy Velon. Her program will follow a short meeting, a show-and-tell, and coffee and cookies.

The club welcomes new members of all skill levels. Among its projects is a holiday toy-making effort, which resulted in some of the group's 175 members making over 2,300 toys for donation to charities stretching from Chicago to Kane County. The 2019 club president is George Rogers.

Crafting toys for  charities, visiting members' woodworking shops, attending wood shows in Milwaukee and Iowa City, and sponsoring a tool auction are some of the events organized by the organization throughout the year.
