DOWNERS GROVE – The two brothers behind Pizzeria32 plan a sampling event as part of grand opening festivities the weekend of Jan. 24 to 26.
Building on the pizzeria prowess of their grandfather, Steve and Sam Syreggelas recently opened Pizzeria32. The 32 in the eatery’s name refers to 1932, the year the brothers’ grandfather opened his first restaurant and crafted the original recipes.
“Menu sampling throughout the day [will showcase] our pizza, gourmet salads, appetizers, jumbo roasted wings and desserts,” Steve Syreggelas said in an email.
Also planned are exclusive offers and T-shirt giveaways, while supplies last, he said.
The free tastings will be offered from open to close. Weekend hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. Pizza specials also will be offered.
Situated on a busy corner at Belmont Road and Maple Avenue, it’s a carryout and delivery business that shines the spotlight on its handmade dough and diverse range of toppings, along with salads, baked sandwiches and desserts. Pizzeria32 is at 5600 Belmont Road and is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week, staying opening until 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
