BERWYN – FitzGerald's Nightclub presents a Stay at Home Concert at 4 p.m. April 4.

It will be streamed via www.facebook.com/fitzgeraldsnightclub. Musician Jon Langford will cruise a yet to be disclosed Oak Park/Berwyn neighborhood, bringing live music to the community at a safe distance, a news release stated.

FitzGerald's invites friends and neighbors to put down their screens and raise a glass as they step out on their porch to enjoy a live concert as Langford cruises down the block. To prevent gathering, the exact location will remain secret. Residents were invited to request the Stay At Home Concert visit their block between 4 and 5:30 p.m.

Langford is a Welsh musician and artist based in Chicago, who has been at the forefront of incorporating folk and country music into punk rock since the mid-1980s. He is one of the founders of punk band The Mekons, post-punk group The Three Johns, and alternative country ensembles The Waco Brothers and Pine Valley Cosmonauts. He is involved with the Chicago-based independent record label Bloodshot and is a mixed-media painter. Check out his visual art at www.yarddog.com/collections/jon-langford.
