The DuPage County Health Department Friday reported 62 new cases of COVID-19 in the county, including one death.
DuPage County now has seen 9,209 confirmed case of the virus since the pandemic began. The county has reported 470 total deaths.
Of the cases in the county, 1,728 or 19.1% are associated with outbreaks in long-term care facilities. Of the county's 358 deaths, or 76.8% are associated with long-term care facilities, according to MCDH data.
The DuPage County Health Department provides further information on its data dashboard for COVID-19-related hospitalizations, deaths, lab positivity and outbreak-associated counts by municipality. This additional information replaces the information that was previously provided daily in this format.
