DOWNERS GROVE - A Downers Grove man was arrested Wednesday and charged with reckless discharge of a firearm in connection with an Oct. 13 shooting.

Daniel T. Holous, 47, of the 6600 block of Main Street, discharged a firearm in a reckless manner, which endangered the bodily safety of an individual, according to Downers Grove police. An investigation determined that this was an isolated incident.

A warrant was issued for Holous and he turned himself in at the police department on Tuesday.

He posted a $10,000 cash bond and was released with a court date of Nov. 16 in DuPage County Court.

Police at about 9 p.m. Oct. 13 responded to a house in the 6600 block of Main Street for a report of a person who was shot. The victim was located at the scene and taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries, police said.
